Glossary
The terms Pyrnova™ uses on this site and in the application, each defined once and used one way.
- Assessment
- Pyrnova's judgement about what the evidence shows. It is set in the serif with a half-filled mark, kept apart from observed fact, and always carries its confidence and what would overturn it.
- Confidence
- How well a judgement is evidenced. Drawn by line continuity: dotted low, dashed medium, solid high. It is never merged with materiality.
- Core
- The shared record beneath the four products: identity, evidence, provenance and history, kept as of the date each was known.
- Domain Authority Pack
- Domain context for a market: the sources that matter in it, its terminology and the analytical rules Pyrnova applies there.
- Generated, not reviewed
- The mark on any text a model composed until a person has reviewed it. Generated text is never treated as authoritative.
- Hypothetical
- A bounded consequence that follows if a stated condition holds. Written in the italic serif with a diamond mark, never as a forecast.
- Intelligence gap
- Something Pyrnova could not establish. It is listed as part of the analysis and is never read as evidence of absence.
- Intelligence requirement
- A question your team needs answered, agreed at the start of an engagement and revisited as your pipeline changes.
- Material Change™
- A development Pyrnova has judged material to your business, delivered with its evidence, assessment, gaps and a place for your decision.
- Materiality
- How much a development would matter to you. Drawn by extent, from low to critical, and kept separate from confidence.
- Module
- A specialist extension that adds coverage or analysis for a particular need.
- Observed fact
- What a source recorded, with its source and the date it was retrieved. Set in the sans with a square mark.
- Point in time
- Reading an assessment as it stood when it was made. Later evidence produces a new version; it never rewrites the earlier one.
- PyrAI™
- The shared reasoning layer the products work through. It cites evidence for each claim and marks generated text until a person reviews it. It does not rank, decide or act.
- Source rights
- The terms under which a source may be used and displayed. Where they restrict display, the record is shown as withheld, with the reason.
- STANDARD profile
- The processing boundary for ordinary engagements: unclassified, non-CUI information only. Classified information is prohibited.
- Strategic Change Pilot™
- A bounded evaluation, scoped in advance, that sets out to answer a single consequential question about your market.
